A little about Stephanie
We can get lost hoping for the right path to appear. However, paths are made by walking, not waiting. Regardless of our current circumstances and the obstacles and challenges in our way, we can take one small step at a time and forge a path to a healthy mind and a healthy life.
My goal is to empower my clients to develop a better understanding of their feelings, behaviours and actions in order to make positive changes in their lives. Therapy is a process of insight building, growth, and self-discovery.
I believe in the benefits of spending time outdoors and I invite my clients to take it outside according to their needs and comfort level. We can take a walk, go for a hike, grab a coffee and sit by the water, play soccer, etc. There are so many options. For those who prefer, I also provide in-office and virtual sessions.
I provide confidential, empathic, professional, evidence-based individual therapeutic counselling to children, youth, adults and families where I aim to create a safe, non judgmental and supportive environment that feels comfortable and collaborative. I work with my clients to help them come up with new ways of thinking about life’s challenges to develop new skills that build resiliency.
